With a teaching career spanning over 35 years, Sarah enjoys teaching students of all ages and at all levels. A highly regarded teacher, Sarah is a Professor of Saxophone, and a tutor at the Royal College of Music junior department, Leeds Conservatoire and several universities including Sheffield, York, and Durham. Sarah regularly conducts masterclasses and clinics throughout the UK and beyond for children, students, and adult learners.

Working from her home studio, Sarah uses Zoom, Teams, or FaceTime video platforms for online teaching. Her use of Rode microphones, AKG studio over ear headphones and PreSonus audio interface ensure high quality audio in the lessons. As well as live lessons, Sarah provides notes to the lessons and encourages the use of recordings as extra tools to support the online learning experience.
